Weekend Weather in Coweta: Clearing, cooler with highs near 70

Look for mostly sunny skies this weekend in Coweta County with cooler temperatures, says the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.
After some patchy fog this morning, sunny skies return thru Saturday with today’s high near 72 degrees and Saturday’s high forecast for 70. Some clouds move in with a cold front early Sunday as a slight chance (20%) of rain comes with it as does a high of 71.
Overnight lows – 43 tonight, 53 Saturday and 43 overnight Sunday.
Below is the day-by-day forecast (subject to change) from the NWS:
FRIDAY – Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 72. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
FRIDAY NIGHT – Clear, with a low around 44. North wind around 5 mph.
SATURDAY – Sunny, with a high near 70. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.
SATURDAY NIGHT – Partly cloudy, with a low around 53. Southeast wind around 5 mph.
SUNDAY – A 20 percent chance of showers after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 71. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.
SUNDAY NIGHT – Mostly clear, with a low around 43.
