Weather: Sunny, cool weekend ahead for Coweta

After a series of weekly spring storms and cold fronts, the weekend in Coweta County has a sunny, dry and cool forecast says the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.
The latest cold front pushed through early Thursday thus cooler temperatures and dry conditions have arrived. The next chance for rain, according to NWS, is 20 percent on Tuesday evening.
Today, look for partly sunny skies with increasing clouds and a high of 58 degrees. West wind will be 10-15 mph, gusting to 25. Tonight, mostly clear skies will help the temperature fall to 35.
On Saturday, patchy frost starts off the day then mostly sunny with a high near 57. West winds will be 10-15 mph in the afternoon, gusting to 25. The overnight low will again be around 35.
Sunday will bring more sunny and clear skies and much warmer temperatures. The high is expected to near 72 degrees.
Monday will be partly sunny with a high near 76.

SATURDAY – Patchy frost between 7am and 8am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 57. West wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.
SATURDAY NIGHT – Clear, with a low around 35. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.
SUNDAY – Sunny, with a high near 72. Light west wind becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
MONDAY – Partly sunny, with a high near 76.
