Weekend Weather in Coweta: Sunny and warm

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says to continue to expect sunny skies and warm temperatures through the weekend here in Coweta County.

Fortunately, a cold front moves through the area today and will drop the high temperatures from the lower 90s to the upper 80s. The front is a dry one with no rain chances in the forecast during the weekend.

Below is the day-by-day forecast from the NWS as of 6 a.m. today:

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. West wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

FRIDAY NIGHT – Mostly clear, with a low around 63. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.

SATURDAY – Sunny, with a high near 87. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

SATURDAY NIGHT – Mostly clear, with a low around 64. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.

SUNDAY – Sunny, with a high near 89. Light northwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

SUNDAY NIGHT – Mostly clear, with a low around 65.
