Weather: Nice weekend forecast for Coweta

After a cloudy start this morning, the National Weather Service in Peachtree City says to expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid-70s through Sunday.
A cold front pushed through the area overnight bringing scattered showers and a few thunderstorms. Now that it has passed, clouds will linger around until about mid-morning as clearing and sunny skies return by lunch time.
Today’s high will be 74 degrees. Saturday’s high is expected to also be 74 and on Sunday 77. Overnight lows – tonight drops down to 47, Saturday night 51 and Sunday night 57.
Rain is expected to return in the extended forecast on Monday.
