Update – Monday Evening Report: Coweta increases to 285 cases

UPDATE (7 p.m.) – Today’s Evening Status Report has been issued by the Georgia Department of Public Health for Monday, May 18. Beginning Tuesday, Winters Media & Publishing will publish one report per day at 7 p.m.

The Evening Report shows that Coweta County increased by one new case today and now has a cumulative total of 285 cases, 4 deaths and 48 hospitalizations.

Today,  Georgia recorded 731 new cases, 40 deaths, 202 hospitalizations and 24 admitted to ICU.

In the last two days combined (Sunday and Monday), Georgia has had 1071 new cases, 51 deaths, 270 folks hospitalized and 25 admitted to ICU.

Overall, Georgia now has a cumulative total of 38,283 cases, 1649 deaths, 6992 hospitalized and 1581 ICU admits. The total number of tests administered now stands at 364,289.

The Midday Report shows that Coweta County’s numbers from overnight remain unchanged. The cumulative totals are 284 cases, 4 deaths and 48 hospitalizations.

Overnight, Georgia recorded 529 new cases, 33 deaths, 126 hospitalizations and 8 admitted to ICU.
