Weather: Cool, dry weekend ahead for Coweta

If the National Weather Service forecast holds true, then Coweta County should get its first dip into 30-degree temperatures this weekend.

The weekend forecast is simple – much cooler and dry with lots of sunny skies. 

Today, folks here in Coweta can expect partly sunny skies with a high near 56 degrees and an East wind at 5-10 mph, gusting to 20. The overnight low will be 40.

Mostly sunny skies are forecast for Saturday with a high near 59 and Northeast winds round 10 mph, also gusting to 20. It’s on Saturday night the temperature will dip to the upper 30s, near 38 degrees.

And on Sunday, clear and sunny skies with a high of 65.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny, with a high near 56. East wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. 

FRIDAY NIGHT – Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph. 

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 59. Northeast wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. 

SATURDAY NIGHT – Mostly clear, with a low around 38. North wind around 5 mph. 

SUNDAY – Sunny, with a high near 65. North wind around 5 mph.

MONDAY – Sunny, with a high near 70.
