Weather Week: Expect sunny skies and cool temperatures in Coweta

After flirting with 70-degree weather and rain over the weekend, the National Weather Service says this week (Dec. 3-7) will be filled with clear skies and cooler temperatures will return to the area.
The sunshine begins later today as the high reaches 62. But high temperatures barely reach 50 the rest of the week with lows dropping to the upper-20s and low-30s.
Rain does make an appearance in the weekly forecast on Friday night.
Below is a day-by-day forecast by the NWS:
Today – Sunny, with a high near 62. Light northwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
Tuesday – Sunny, with a high near 49. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Wednesday – Sunny, with a high near 46. Northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Thursday – Sunny, with a high near 50.
Friday – Partly sunny, with a high near 53.
