Weather Week in Coweta: Hot with rain chances all week

The 90-degree high temperatures remain in place for most of the work week as the typical summer weather pattern continues here in Coweta County, according to the National Weather Service.
Highs today of 93 and Tuesday near 91 will be accompanied by heat index values of 101 both days.
Pop-up showers and thunderstorms could occur every day this week with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies as rain chances start at 60 percent today though Wednesday and increase to 70 percent on Thursday and Friday.
Low temperatures will be near 71 degrees all week.

TUESDAY – A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9am, then a chance of showers between 9am and 10am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 91. Heat index values as high as 101. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
