Rain again dots the weekend forecast here in Coweta County, says the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

This weekend, part of the reason will be the remnants from Hurricane Laura which is now a Tropical Depression making a push to the east coast. Rain chances today are listed at 40 percent, then 60 percent tonight and Saturday and at 50 percent on Sunday. In fact, the NWS extended forecast calls for scattered showers and thunderstorms across north and central Georgia through the middle of next week.
