Weekend Weather: Dry and cool here in Coweta

From Staff Reports

The National Weather Services says to expect sunny skies beginning late Friday afternoon through Sunday with mild temperatures during the day but much colder overnight.

On Friday, cloudy skies begin the day before gradual clearing takes place in the afternoon. The high will be 48 degrees with Northwest winds from 10-15 mph, gusting to 20. Tonight, clear skies will drop the mercury to around 26.

Sunny skies return Saturday and Sunday with respective highs of 52 and 55. The overnight low on Saturday will be 29.

A slight chance of rain (20%) moves in late Sunday night, early Monday.
