LIVING WITH PARKINSON’S DISEASE
10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Newnan Centre, 1515 Lower Fayetteville Road, Newnan
For people with Parkinson’s disease, exercise and physical activity are an essential part of overall Parkinson’s management. 10:30 a.m.-Noon at Newnan Carnegie Library, 1 LaGrange Street, Newnan
Please join the Newnan Carnegie Library and Hometown Novel Writers Association as we have special guest Boxlogix’s Meghan Leith present two special sessions: “Don’t Get Ripped Off While Publishing” and “Publishing a Book? Avoid These Top 10 Mistakes!”. Whether pursuing traditional or some form of nontraditional publishing, this will be a highly informative workshop for writers or first-time authors. Free event. Join us at Senoia Alive After Five for our ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL! Live music, artisan vendors, local shopping with our downtown businesses, food trucks, kids activities, axe throwing, PUMPKIN PAINTING and so much more! Senoia is getting ready for fall!

JAZZ IN THE PARK: KAMERON CORVET
7:30 p.m. at Greenville Street Park, Downtown Newnan
he Newnan Cultural Arts Commission invites you to experience the joys of Jazz In The Park as they welcome Kameron Corvet to the Greenville Street Park Stage as to dance the night away. Grab your friends and family and head on out for Jazz in the Park. There will be food trucks and family fun!

William Goldman’s Misery follows successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon, who is rescued from a car crash by his “number one fan,” Annie Wilkes, and wakes up captive in her secluded home. While Paul is convalescing, Annie reads his latest book and becomes enraged when she discovers the author has killed off her favorite character, Misery Chastain. Annie forces Paul to write a new Misery novel, and he quickly realizes Annie has no intention of letting him go anywhere. The irate Annie has Paul writing as if his life depends on it, and it does. PAPER SHREDDING EVENT
8 a.m.-Noon at Newnan City Hall Parking Lot, 25 LaGrange Street, Newnan
Hosted by Keep Newnan Beautiful. First 3 bags or boxes are free. After that, $3 per bag or box.

COWETA COUNTY FARMERS MARKET / NEWNAN
8:30 a.m.-Noon at Asa M. Powell Sr. Expo Center, 197 Temple Avenue, Newnan
Every Wednesday and Saturday (thru mid-October) Local farmers  offer homegrown fruits, vegetables, homemade food items, plants and more!

SENOIA FARMERS MARKET
8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at 40 Travis Street, Senoia
It is a community-oriented marketplace that features a variety of local farmers, food producers, artisans, and craftsmen. You can find a wide selection of fresh produce, including fruits and vegetables, herbs, and flowers. There are also local food producers selling homemade baked goods, jams and jellies, honey, and other artisanal products. The market also features handmade crafts, such as pottery, jewelry, and textiles. Visitors can enjoy live music, food trucks, and other family-friendly activities.  EVERY Saturday.

FISHING DERBY FOR KIDS
9 a.m.-Noon at Marimac Lakes Park, Pylant Street & Hwy. 16, Senoia
Free event hosted by the Optimist Club of Senoia. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., and the derby is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon. The catch-and-release derby is for youth from 5 to 15 years old.  At least one parent / legal guardian must be present with each participating child.

RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY: DISC GOLF
9 a.m. at Hunter Complex Disc Golf Course, 2970 Highway 16 East, Sharpsburg
Join the Coweta Parks & Recreation staff behind the Field of Courage for the official opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of the 2nd Disc Golf Course offered by Coweta Parks & Recreation. The ceremony will be held before the MVP Circuit Challenge beginning at 9:30 a.m.

SERENBE FARMERS MARKET
9 a.m.-1 p.m. at 9110 Selborne Lane, Palmetto
Serenbe Farmers Market offers a variety of healthy foods and artisanal goods on a large green space surrounded by a canopy of trees. Spend the morning shopping for your weekly groceries or unique gifts & wears while enjoying the beauty of nature.

PEACHTREE CITY MARKET
9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Aberdeen Village Shopping Center, Aberdeen Parkway, Peachtree City
This market brings approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats, honey, eggs, prepared foods and so much more. It’s the perfect place to find the consummate gift for the foodie in your life and visitors will also find live music going on.

THE LOCALS MARKET
9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Greenville Street Park, Downtown Newnan
Enjoy a Saturday at The Locals Market where there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Vendors, food trucks, children’s activities, live music, bobbin for apples contest and more.

10 a.m.–6 p.m. at McIntosh Trail Recreation Complex, 191 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City

EDUCATION SERIES: COURT, PROBATE, WILL & TITLE SEARCHES
11 a.m. at the Coweta County Genealogical Society, 8 Carmichael Street, Newnan
Chuck Witcher will be showing us how to research our family history using court documents and where to find them.
